Who do I contact if want to do a license transfer?
And it's $50 for each software right?
Zai
What are you wanting to transfer (and why if I may ask)?
The only two products with SR that are even allowed to be transfered are Sonik Synth 2 and Miroslav Philharmonik. The rest of our products are non-transferable. The license fee for those two products is $99. each and paid by the person buying it (not selling it) and that covers a variety of benefits of being a registered user plus their own license to use it (you both qualifying for future crossgrades and upgrade discounts).
It is done through IK Multimedia direct.

If you sold it to a friend then you wouldn't be able to use it yourself anymore. You'd want to do that? It's even in your sig.zai wrote:Just asking, no particular reason...just wanting to know the process just in case I want to sell SS2 and Miroslav to a friend.

Considering...yeah, I'll do the right thing if I do sell it to a friend. You can trust me on that.
I simply don't have the time and energy to play with all these "toys"...trying to finish my 2nd degree...and after that, who knows...I might not even have time to play on my keyboard once I become a teacher.
Time will tell...but that's what I'm considering anyway. Hm...was thinking...is it possible to transfer my IK "account"? Or would that be "cheating" the system? :p
Really, I'll do the right thing...I fully support all you music software makers.
I hold you in high reguards Squids.

My advice, FWIW, is don't give up on music. You have a killer set up that a lot of people would dream of. Even if it is a hobby that you go to now and then, this stuff (making music and being creative) makes the world a better place. Best of luck to you.

The thing is, a lot of my "friends" know about my set and they keep asking me to do this and do that...I think you could probably relate to that.
It just took the fun out of making music sometime...now that I don't have much time to play, they stopped asking. Go figure....
Anyway, I'm just considering...not going to do it anytime soon anyway. Just wanting to know if I do want to transfer it to a friend.
