Well, you've met me at least. ;)

(or at least someone you *thought* was me... :hihi:)...
You met someone you thought was me. But was I really You™? :?: It's like I tell my friends who use internet dating services...

...uh, actually, I don't really tell them anything. I'm just suspicious of anyone they say they've found exciting. You never know. They might be a dog. Or someone named George who folks don't care isn't even real.

i've seen your roof.
it's like if we knew each other

I channel mine from the Pleades.
No wonder they seem out of this world!
Ba-DOOM-boom! One in a row. But seriously folks . . .

A friend of mine said that at a Yes concert he saw, Jon Anderson introduced one of his solo pieces by saying, "This song came to me from the Pleades." One can only hope he was joking.

Though he probably wasn't.

Hey the dilitant joke was very funny too. I'm stealing it. It's a perfect description of my attitude. Thanks, Gordon. :)

Did anyone else read "God's Debris" by Scott Adams?
A theological twist of the same theme... :hihi:

No, I never knew about it 'till now, but I love Dilbert. I'll have to check that out from the library.

I'm surprised that with all these tech members at KVR, nobody is from Elbonia.

BTW, Does anyone think it's a bad idea if I post samples of older contest entries (most are chopped into loops) in the Graveyard? They're not my music, but I was going to use them and it might save people a lot of time to just pick up the stuff I've edited. I'll make an HTML explanation for what's what. Some are terrific and I feel guilty keeping them to myself.

Fine with me.

I have just got around to extracting some stuff from a couple of my previous entries and will post them soon.
Time is an illusion - lunchtime doubly so.

I have this theory about Picasso:

Pablo Picasso was a wanker who always knew exactly what he was doing.

The wanker part is pretty much a matter of record. I suspect he either always knew exactly what he was doing, or was incredibly bad at doing what he wanted, otherwise he wouldn't have kept doing the same thing over and over. But at least he got bored of doing the same thing over and over a couple times in his life (thus his different "periods"), unlike Philip Glass, who has apparantly never quite perfected the da-da-da-DUH-da-da thing. God love him.

You™ wrote:Hi everyone. I've updated my archive of tidbits. I have added a collection of loops and pieces from songs I intend to use this month which you are welcome to plunder because I'm sure they will be different in each incarnation - plus, I found all the old loops from the October "Loop" competition a couple years ago. I added a handy index page for most of the collection that shows the provenance of each piece:
Over 200 MB of spare body parts!

Happy grave robbing :hihi:
unfortunately, it doesn't work here: blank page (well gradation of greys)

Thanks for the heads up! I fixed it. Were you using Windows Internet Explorer? It seemed to have a problem with the javascript I used to style the table. Oh, I hate how complicated computers make everything! :)

Let me know if you have any more problems. I put a couple of your loops in there - I hope you don't mind.
