I assume your talking about the drummer right? You could just bring a drum machine to the next practice.

funny story, my friend used to drum in a metal band. He quit because the guitar monkeys and singer were a bunch of irresponsible unmotivated slobs. Now we have a band, and I'm the unmotivated one :\ We've all got reasons though

I have thrown away so much musical energy on petty ego petting in dank rooms that smell like beer and urine.
