Anything out there that's suitable for making some really weird stuff out of normal everyday samples? I'm pretty familiar with Buffer Override, but I'm curious as to what else everyone has found.

There are actually a LOT of them out there on the Net. Try these [I can't give you the URLs off hand, but Googling for them will take you to the right place!]:
1. Scrubby [from Smartelectron:x]
2. LiveCut [from Smartelectron:x]
3. BackMan [from KlangLabs]
4. SupaTrigga [from Smartelectron:x]
5. Memory [from White Noize Audio]
6. There's this other loop/sound mangler from TobyBear, look for it on his website
7. MG Gate Effect

Try Jack Dark's plug-ins, he appears to be some kind of insane plug-in genius.

Possibly, though Hosebeast is an effect and Wavehack is a sampler. Hosebeast certainly seems to borrow from Ghidrah, Cyclotron and Skutterbug.shamann wrote:Was it one of the modules merged into Hosebeast?dystonia_ek wrote:Wavehack by ArcDev (sadly no longer available) is loads of fun.
