of course. i completely agree that he deserves >150.00. he is a one man show. i have utmost respect for developers like him. i wish i could give him a lot more than 150. he works really hard like his colleagues and he deserves a whole lot more than what i can offer. i can see that he's a good, agressive businessman as well as a genius developer. i also believe that he's young and that's a plus too. i think the future is very bright for sonicfire. now, what you need is to get yourself in magazines and other websites and stuff. in simpler terms, more agressive marketing. one day this might be your only job dennis.bduffy wrote:Well, I think he deserves >$150. Yeah, that's what I was thinking - Sonicfire could be the next Camel Audio or Voxengo, et al. and start breaking into larger markets.tuz wrote:of course. i completely agree that he deserves >150.00. he is a one man show. i have utmost respect for developers like him. i wish i could give him a lot more than 150. he works really hard like his colleagues and he deserves a whole lot more than what i can offer. i can see that he's a good, agressive businessman as well as a genius developer. i also believe that he's young and that's a plus too. i think the future is very bright for sonicfire. now, what you need is to get yourself in magazines and other websites and stuff. in simpler terms, more agressive marketing. one day this might be your only job dennis.bduffy wrote:Well, I think he deserves >$150. Sorry to interupt the praises,
well sonic I really like your stuff,
but I dont hear anything special in the demos.
yet nothing I cant do with a lot other synths.
maybe some people like the rompler idea for the ambientpadsounds,
but there is athmosphere also in the market.
and all the demos you posted sound pretty nice and warm, but also quite similar to my ears.
So not to say it will be a bad synth/rompler,
but my interest is a bit down for there are many synth for that kind of task that are free or cheap.
as the HG-fortune synths for example,
or some of the Krakli synths,
and many more...
it needs only a bit programming and maybe some FX and...
so again sorry if I dont join the choir
I would have voted less than 100,
but let the more positive people decide.
I think you earn at least a good share for the great library you bring with it.
I hope you can understand point of view. No offense meant.

I think it's good to voice differing opinions! Vive le Democracy!
For me, Sonicfire's synth seemed to sound a little smoother than the others, but I'd have to try it to say for sure.

I said a hundred dollars...coz after buying everything else you've made...and being completely satisfied with it...you deserve to be paid well for your work. and i'm sure that this new synth will be fantastic. although, you better not worry about this thing till i can get my grubby hands on that vocal harmony plug!
peace!
