Size: 940 meg (download is 350 meg div. in 15Mb segments)

This is a sampled reproduction of a Yamaha CF-3 grand
piano from the early 90s. It was chromatically sampled,
to maintain the tempered tuning.

Maestro Concert Grand contains 452 stereo samples.
It was recorded with a pair of Neumann KM84 microphones
in X/y stereo.

Haven't tried it yet, but feedback on this (free) library has been very good.
Since the author allow those who have the library to distribute it to friends, I'll send a DL link via PM to the first 10 KvR members who ask for it.

one at Audioforum, different size it seems
(v2 is 940 meg).

Note to the guys who got the link
better download it first b4 spreading the log/pass
because the ISP will probably remove the files due
to bandwidth abuse.

I'm not aware that Matt has released a third piano. He has two Maestro Grands that were at his site before it went down. I uploaded one to the Auditorium, and the other is at sf2midi.com. Does anyone know if this is the same one, because I believe it is the same as I uploaded, which is about the same size.

I know that I downloaded every last one of Matt's sample sets from his site. From the clarinet to pianos to drums and more, I got it all. So it would be surprizing(although a GOOD surprise!) if he did another one.

I will take the link and compare if you want to PM it to me. Or just use yousendit.com and send me the link if you want. It works pretty good to send large files. I'll check the version I have also.

Ok, I checked, and this is the same one. I don't know why the one I have says it's only 895MB. Maybe that was version one and he forgot to change it in the readme file. But the one I uploaded is the same amount of samples, and is the same size, and even says V2 in the title.

So it IS the same that is already available. Thanks for sharing though!

Yep koolkeys, you're probably right.

It's up to you. It does have the same size as what you stated above, and the same amount of samples, and it does state V2 in the name of it. So my guess is that it's the same. Thank you though for sharing. That's one of the great things about this forum. The sharing. Cheers!
