The update supposes to fix errors in the piano roll tools,
but unfortunately it doesn't.

I've never had any piano roll related crashes anyway, but I went ahead and installed it.

It SHOULD be doing something, since it's about 200K bigger than the original 'engine.dll' file...

I've had some piano-roll related crashes resulting in FLS being unable to initiate. Needed to reinstall a few times. I went back to 5.0a.

It's only related to crashes in 5.0.2.c (according to reflex). If you have a version < 5.0.2c, then you don't should see any.

Funny that -- But I forget how to check which version I have.. the 'about' screen just has version 5.02.

But maybe that's it -- I must have one prior to the "c" upgrade -- because I have literally abused the hell out of the piano roll in every way possible with all the options/tools/etc, and nary a crash nor a flicker...

What about randomize during play over a one bar loop with Symptohm Mehloman? That's when it crashed on me.
