I'm in a quandary

This coming Tuesday, Alec Empire AND Kid 606 are playing gigs!!

But I dont know who to see

I've seen the Kid a couple of times and he is ace live (much better than on record IMHO) and he is also playing down the road from me with randomNumber.

Alec Empire is playing a bit further out and therfore a bus journey is needed. Also he will be more expensive (that if its not sold out yet!!). But I have never seen him live, nor ATR.

I've been told that Empire's shows can be a bit erratic - something about sounding like gameboy music on occasions instead of brutal breakcore. Of course Kid606 does stuff like this as well, but I know that will happen and won't be dissapointed. But then again Kid606 is doing more breakbeat/drum n bass stuff nowadays.

A bit of a hike, certainly, but that bill... I'd travel pretty far for any two out of that list.

Closest runner up in upcoming events would be the more power electronics oriented Consumer Electronics 6 in Berlin next weekend (Slogun, Control, Sektion B, Sickness, SKM-ETR).

Too bad we don't get much stuff like this over here.

At 44.1 kHz sampling rate, 16 bits/sample, stereo, a bit of music is going to get you around 0.7 microseconds. IIWY I'd go for longer-lasting entertainment.

And yes, that's 1/32 of a sample. Fractional samples are the Next Big Thing. Save storage space! Be the first on your block!
