Is there any EQ Plug In, where Faders go down to infinite?

Hi! The most VST Plug In EQ´s that i own, have Faders that goes down to normally -12db or -25db, but for my work i need an EQ that goes down to infinite.
So that i can hear only the isolated Sound from my Field Recordings.
Is there any EQ for Mac OS X with Logic 6 that can do this?
Or is there any Trick i can do with normal EQ´s, to reach that goal?
If so, i will be the luckiest man in the world, thank you very much!

Perhaps you could chain several EQs with a notch setting, but in that case they'd need a steep slope in order to work well.
There's FreEq Boy for Windows (sorry). It has the steepest slope I have ever seen and goes down to -90dB (which should come close to -inf in most cases).
I don't know of any alternative for Mac, though.

What I will do sometimes with noisy audio is copy the audio to another track and invert the phase. Then, on either one of those tracks, I'll use EQ to cut only the freqs that I want to hear (boosting would also work, but I prefer cutting as to avoid clipping). Hope that helps.

If you need only 3 bands and want one for free:

You can use it as Multiband Compressor or Equalizer.

Slim slow slider - Yeah, use the multiband compressor, but mute all the channels but the middle one and then adjust it's boundaries. Great multiband compressor too. Remember to turn compression off.
