Well, IMO, from those audio demos you do get a sense of the 'basic' sound of the reverb. No matter how you tweak damping and EQ or early reflections there usually is a basic sound to the thing and this is what I thought sounded quite a bit better in the lexicon.
It's still the basic sound of the P-100, though - not the CSR-1.

I compared the P-100 audio demos to my 300. The plugin sounds ringy, less defined and sort of grainy. Not bad for a plugin reverb, though. Check it out for yourself:

I have tested the demos for the P100 and the A100 pretty extensively and wasn't blown away, to be honest. Sounds about as good as a tc electronic m1 (my basic reverb plugin :)) and, given that they're asking $100 per algo, a hell of a lot more expensive.

I am surprised nobody really mentions the Wizoo W2 much around here, I think it's incredible.

It Is awesome, but it takes time to make your own IRs, and sometimes when doing so, I become dizzy by listening to the sound, they need to include a Brickwall Highpass filter, but for tweaking a modelled reverb is the obvious choice. And I would say if somebody could make one that is twice the quality of AAR, then it is worth the price.

Thanks A3ntar

I whipped it up in MSPaint a few years back when I needed some artwork for my first IUMA site. I was a bit surprised how easy it was - it only took me 20 minutes.

Thanks for visiting my website. The site was skillfully built by Eric Wistrand (aka EW :hail:) and the studio shots were kindly donated by Alex Volmer (aka Multree ultra 8) ) No way could I have done it myself.

Cheers,
Gordon
