Alpha Release 0.2
This program sends the transport information (play, pause, stop,FF,RW etc) from a VST host such as Audio Mulch to Winamp. You could use it to score a movie using Audiomulch.

well, you could play a movie with winamp, arrange music for it in your host, export the audio you created to a .wav and then use a program like virtual dub to mux the video- and audio-streams.A3ntar wrote:Ok, and what is the use of that? How can you use that to score movies? ( sorry, i do not know much about movie scoring )

As far as I know, MOST software keeps the two streams (audio and video) completely separate up until the point of export. So while Nuendo may do the job that something like virtual dub does, it's still ultimately doing the same thing.
It's just a bit more transparent to the end user.
Now, I'm pretty uninformed so I could be wrong, but even when you look at something like a DVD, the audio and video is stored separately. It strikes me as being in the best interest of any sort of production software to keep them completely separate until the user says, "Yup, that works... mush'em up!"

Hmmm - just saw this. Nice.
Unfortunately, I cannot play Winamp in parallel with EnergyXT at all. For some reason I can't play Winamp at the same time with anything using ASIO drivers - ho hum.
I use ASIO4ALL v2 and very shitty on-board sound, so it may be my system which is buggering me up here (quite likely actually).
But I did check it out in Muzys3 using MME drivers and it did work in theory - so bravo.
