Yes -- this is true. I guess we just need to:

1.) Develop the Artists' pages
2.) Determin the host site
3.) Put the link (and print password to site in the CD jacket?)

We can still use Kovac's server in the end if we want. But it doesn't matter.

Let me know if we finalize the form. I have PM's already for people needing help with their page. I think it would be good to have a set layout that everyone could go by.

this is the fourth track I listened to, because similar to others, after hearing a few excellent ones, I thought that maybe I would rather save some surprises for when the CDs arrived

but this track was right there when I started catching up on the thread today

had forgotten about the clippity-cloppity -- was only there once, at age 14 about 30 years ago -- the horns are unmistakeably "New Orleans" -- a fine celebration

when they get the city drained and cleaned up so people can visit again, to walk those streets with the greater appreciation, man ...

it seems like every recent disaster has lifted us or shown us that we were already secretly better than we imagined

after what he has been through, would it be in bad form to send Mayor Nagin a copy? an anonymous friend would like to, if that seems okay

hehe, yes, the change at 0:34 is there are purpose. why, is it that bad?

As for the Cymbal at 1:56 and 2:02...yes, i now realize that is a bit too loud isn't it. Thank you very much for catching that...my ears had grown to used to the song to pick it out. hmm.....that's a tough thing to fix though, being that the drum track is just one stereo file....i could go into the original nuendo project in which i composed it though and lower the cymbal sound through the VSTi that played it, then re-export the drum track, replace the old on in the mix with the new one, and remaster it. I'll definitely do it if i have the time.

Just checking. It sounds "right", but is a little jarring, not a biggy though.

Indeed -- I was thinking the same thing about walking those streets again one day with a "new appreciation".

I was to a couple of Mardis Gras and I can remember the big JAX beer brewery on Canal St. had this huge wagon with the horse team rolling down the street & a brass band following (guess you guys all know by now I LOVE brass ) giving away free cups of beer to me and all the other winos

Sadly the brewery disappeared over time, but we'll always have those memories -- and that's why working on Freezey's tune was such a major gas for me.

Yeah! Say hi to the mayor for me too!!
