Well you have to have the right connections you know.....
Just kidding it's on the amplitube site, you just have to find the link.

Btw, the clean tone is very sweet. It is a shame that the previous amp sim setting f**ked it beyond recognition :)

Post

So lemme guess, is that your own interpretation of IKMM's DSM algorithm?
Is that Midiwork's new ampSim?
Did you code that or did somebody else?

Post

Hey A3ntar

I see you are everywhere AT2 is even remotely mentioned.
Your life is on hold until AT2 is out.
Am I right or am I right? :P

I hope you won't be disappointed and it will live up to your expectation.

Post

AndrewSimon...LOL. Yes, I have been waiting for AT2 for a long time now. Been holding off a PodXT Live purchase because of it. But it is taking for ever....Grrrrr...So I am really anxious :)

Post

now what about my guesses? ;)

No, it's not Midiwork's new ampSim
and I do not code anything.
I am supprised we do not hear from him lately.
I hope he will finish his creation and there will be customers left after all these big gun amp-sims come out. (he better hurry up)

Here is a link to Mystery:

This is a realy cool plug.
The pre amp section is amazing.
By the way this was coded by the same guy who did the Simulanalog JMC900 plug.
He should be hired by IK for AT3.

LOL, I think I seen more litterature about AT2 then anyone here on this forum ( besides Squids of course ). The only part I missed is that DSM technology briefing. I didn't find the NAMM demos convincing at all, but the sound wasn;t taken directly from the PC, but from the video camera's microphone. It didn't sound very good.

Now as for the Mystery plugin, the thing sais : "especially suitable for keyboard sounds", no wonder why the guitar sounded so bad...LOL.

Nice try anyways :)

Forget about PodXT
Save up for the real deal:

Cool and all, but Meh... the Rectifier's sound isn't the only one I'm after. :D

'Sides, no sound clips! :P :o :hihi:

Regarding the mystery amp-- that clean sound was pretty fantastic except for the panning effect that was going on (subtle, so it might not have been actual pan, but phasing in and out).

Thought about this, funny, no demos on line why is that?
Also, the guy at MESA Hollywood said there is still no way, including this, to recreate a Amp/Mic set up..

Still, I would like to hear some mp3 demos...

For me the ultimate amp would be FENDER TONEMASTER (point to point wiring) every string has clean and chunk when cranked, wonderful sound, Groove Tube (clean, had one actually with American 6L6 American Coke bottle tubes), and a Mesa Rectifier.......

Yeah, the first sample is pretty horrible, but it sounds like it could be much better with some EQ... Did you try applying some kind of speaker simulation afterwards to smooth things out?

And I second Lunch Money on the second sample :)

I was just fooling around.
I liked the raw sound without the cabinet simulation.
This plug is great, too bad it is not made for guitars.

Here is my amp:

Just in case you have not heard it,
or forgot what it sounds like. :D

Sorry, if I repeat myself but...
Release will be some time before Christmas
(this year, not 2008) 8)

Since some were talking about amp response to the playing,
Please go and listen to the response demo. ;)

Shall I hurry up because of AT2 and GR2 ?
Not if you want an amp sim instead of a multifx plugin...

I am not worried, only about the possibility,
that you maybe, place your cash on the wrong horse with all that hype fever here.

At least it seams like I am the only one, who is giving you clean, dry,
not full fx'ed sound demos. (Honest and raw)
Waves GTR didnt, GR2 did not really,
for AT2 you are still waiting... but they had tits to show. :?

Dont burn your fingers..., er, cash... :hihi:
