(these are just brief descriptions of what they are)
Marketing writer - must have knowledge of music software (hosts, plug-ins, IK in particular) and marketing experience (preferably in this industry but doesn't have to be necessarily).
Regional Sales Reps for East and West Coast of USA - must be an excellent, confident, likable/friendly (so confident but not cocky) person who has a lot of drive, self motivation and preserverence. Managing skills, ability to travel etc.
Regional Product Specialists in various areas around the world. - Must have playing ability with both keyboard and guitar (can be stronger in one than the other but ideally good enough with both to do an impressive demonstration of virtual instruments and guitar amp software...obviously). Great attitude, confident, likable/friendly (not cocky but also not too shy and quiet) person who has a lot of drive, self motivation and preserverence. Ability to travel frequently within your region.
Positions for interns and assistants in marketing and sales are also possible and many times people have moved up from there.
Sound design - if you know samplers very well, synth programming, rexing, editing in Wavelab, looping (also instrument sustain looping, not just beat looping but that too), tuning (good ear) and are familiar with Reason, SampleTank and other popular software sample products. I am looking for various people at different levels and we usually get a lot of requests for this position. Location needs to be in Sunrise, Florida in our office but in rare exceptions you might be able to work outside (or become a tester at least and get some free sounds from SR if you are good... we test testers for this
Executive assistant manager - I am looking for someone who is incredibly knowledgeable about samplers, sample libraries, instruments (from vintage to ethnic to meat & potatoes to classical etc.), styles of music and is very thorough, organized with good management skills. Must be a very good keyboard player as well. So, I am looking for a Squids 2 in this regard. I'll be honest, this is not an easy gig to get but it is a good one if you fit the bill.
Beta testers - if you have a variety of samplers on mac and pc and know them well, know how to look for issues in samples and patch programming then there are various roles here. This can be done from anywhere in the US.
Demo makers - if you are an excellent composer, performer and can crank out impressive demos then show us what you got! This can be done from anywhere in the world. But, we are also looking for someone in house who is diverse for doing riffs (to join Mr. Tunes, myself and Rob in making riff demos for esoundz).
That's most of it. IK will post official CV requests. But, if you contact me and mention this thread that is also a good start. Just email jobs@sonicreality.com (even for the IK ones because I will screen you and pass you on... but if you make it past me then you are solicited which is always better). Send a resume and picture with a letter about why you think you would be good at the particular job you are going for. It doesn't have to be long (preferably not in fact). I will pass it on with my comments. Please don't be upset if you don't hear back from me on it because we tend to get quite a few requests. If you want just a confirmation that I got it then that's ok. But, I won't have time to respond to each and everyone personally. I do appreciate your interest.
Feel free to ask some questions in the thread that is in our company forum. But, personal details save for an email again to jobs@sonicreality.com
Thanks and good luck! This are some of the best jobs in the world if you are a musician!
