Where did you see these?Cellomangler wrote:All the new EZEG instruments I've seen advertised have the "C" tacked onto the end of the name, ei, "EGEZC". Anybody have one of these or know if there's any difference with the original..or if I'm just being paranoid...?

That is rather sweet. Very nice playing and the musical ideas suit the sound very well. Something to aspire too!mbncp wrote:I'm still into string/plucked instruments, small demo playing a Kora (African lute/harp) and a Dulcimer.

Just an update. My AZ EG turned out to be faulty so I returned it to the shop and got a refund (£160). I found one on thomann.de for £70 +£10 postage which arrived this morning - a saving of £80 and more if you consider the price in Argos and other stores of £200.
It makes playing all the sweeter getting one so cheaply

Sweet!
I keep hoping to find them cheap in the States someday. I'd like to add an -AG to my -EG, at the very least!

I just got EZAG and I'm loving it.
The little speciality apps are awesome, I am totally grateful for all the hard work you guys put into this. I've been wanting one of these since I frist saw this thread about a year ago!
Markleford, My fav of yours is 10 and 11.
I'm having some trouble getting Marc's to work. Is there supposed to be presets? I also can't get midi to run through it. I've gone up to page 18, but on dial up this is a killer.
any help would be much absolutely wonderful!
Thanks,
dw

Hi,
Midi out (to the host, synth) must be set in:
Left Split (MIDI OUT)
EZ-AG/EG(MIDI OUT) is only used for showing chords/scaled on the EZ (leds).
For the presets, you will have to create them yourself. I think there's a tool-tip for each control, so it shouldn't be to difficult, but feel free to ask.

Hi Tony, I was lookimg at Thomann because I too would like to buy an EZ-EG, but I can't find it, they seems to have only the AG model (and I would like to have the tremolo bar). Do you know if the one you bought was the last one?

Markleford is outrageously good with his EZ-EG. Program's pretty great too.
Grist for the glamour mill.

Sorry Project, that was my mistake - it was actually the EZ Ag that I bought. Apologies for the confusion.Project wrote: they seems to have only the AG model (and I would like to have the tremolo bar).

Drop them an email and ask if they can get one for you, they are very helpful.

I was looking at these for my 9yr old son. Would an average 9yr old be able to handle an EZ guitar comfortably?

Yes, they are fairly small: only 12 frets on the neck.
The fret-buttons are easy to press, too: he wouldn't need as much finger strength as a normal guitar.

Some of you may know that I just bought a EZAG.
I noticed today that the higher strings are alot looser than the lower strings.
Is this normal?
