all the plugs from the pack were rejected by tracktion 1, but the amp is workin great for what i'm usin it for. could i be more vague?

TapeEcho and xFlanger are DirectX only, A0 Parametric Equalizer works fine in tracktion 1.6.0.1 (the version I'm using right now). What do you mean by "rejected"?

they go in the ignore list. this rarely happens

edit: the eq is sittin in the list

also, the eq setup didn't let me pick a folder so i had to go hunt down the dll

It should install it in your default VSTPLUGINS directory... I'm sorry but I cannot provide technical support for these plug-in, but I'll try to do my best to answer to them in this forum.

Many programs support DirectX plug-ins: Acid, Cakewalk, Cubase, Nuendo, Sound Forge, etc...

i don't have a default directory. i usually just cut and paste dll's where i want em. on the rare occasion there's an installer, i get to choose a directory

You do now, if you installed the parametric equalizer. Many older plug-ins used to install automatically, or at least provide default options, for Program Files\Steinberg\Vst Plugins. If you go look you will see the eq there, just cut and paste to your prefered location.

To use the DX plug ins in Tracktion, you need the free VST-DX wrapper from here:
