Cubase SX and a few fancy effects, some guitars and a condenser mic is all I have, and it got me a record contract! Even if I had all the money in the world theres nothing I could possibly need, except for a nice premises to record in. It seems that too many people on here spend all their time jerking off to the latest adverts, and too little writing songs and being what, lets face it, is the whole point, an ARTIST.

Boss DR550 drums, Roland TB303 & TR606, 2x Casio CZ101's, Yamaha R70(?) reverb, a Conic 12 track desk and a set of Mission 700 speakers got me a record deal in 1991.
My studio never really got that big over the next few years. I added a Roland JV880 and Yamaha RM50 drum module and a few other bits but it only ever occupied a small corner of my living room.
Just as well really cos by 2001 the whole lot was made redundant by software!
But even now my setup is minimal and software old (by todays standards) but that's how I choose to be and I too am happy!
