okay, when I load dfh it opens up half the amount of tracks as outputs as there are on dfh...the reason seems to because it tkaes the mono signals on dfh an put two each to a stereo track. However this is all the choices I get

Image

How can I have one track for each mic like in FL

Image

I want to use the drum maps in sonar as dfh is not mapped in gm...;)

That's a stupid limitation of the Cakewalk vst wrapper :( I really hoped they'd fix it with the "native" vst Suppport in S5 but apparently not so...
Here's a link to a workaround using busses (which I personally do not like): http://www.toontrack.com/user/free/SUPE ... outtut.swf
The other aternative is using rewire which works ok but eats more cpu.
Personally, I nowadays use dfhs with the stereo output option only since I find it good enough to develop drum tracks and since I bounce anyway for mixing this works ok for me.

In S5 click on Tools, then 'Sonar Plugin Manager', on the left hand side chose VST Instruments, then on the right side locate DFH, click on it, then on the bottom of the window click 'Plug-in Props...'.
In the window you see now un-tick 'force stereo operation', click ok. Now Sonar should feature a seperate stereo bus for each plugin output, even when the outputs are mono, you can now manually switch the channels that get a mono signal from DFH to mono in the mixer, for proper panning and fx etc.

See if this works for you (I don't have DFH but BFD, works for that)
