I saw this at AES today...Killer. The Knobs & display are the business. It's like the current remote but with a few minor but really nice improvements in the design, layout and components taking it to the next level. I'm just upset they won't have a 49key version (according to the rep) & that I just bought a remote 49 anyway

I'd be interested to see how much this is gonna run for, as I am looking for a controller that is both fairly cheap and very usable. I've considered the microkorg, but i'll keep my eye on this one also.

This looks good. I wonder about the touch on the keyboard has the one on my oxygen 8 has to be one of the shittiest I've had. Never tried a novation keyboard but a lot of people seem to be raving about the quality.

This controller looks good, but who wants 25 keys (2 octaves)? That is nowhere near enough for today's musician. The ideal controller should have at least 61 keys (5 octaves)!

Novation make high-quality products, without doubt, but why do they insist on giving us so little for our money? Yes, the features are here, but it's let down big style by the number of keys.

My Novation X-Station 25 works great as my third keyboard. People buy 'em. Novation will release longer versions of this latest product in the near future, and that's when I'll get one.

Andrew Vernon I wholeheartedly disagree I could go on for quite awhile about the automap feature and the fact I may have a logic control in my bed.... not to mention NOT having to memorise anything because of the LCD. John P. I like more keys too BUT i think a lot of people here are missing the point these are for the fastest growing sector of the compter market... laptops.

looks good for on the road use together with a laptop. For studio applications theres always CME's, doepfers, studiologic and whatnot else, all with plenty keys.

That's one hell of an assumption about what other musicians want or need.
