Electri-Q wrapped with Cakewalk VST Adapter 4.4.2 crashes Sonar4 when exiting Sonar4 with Electri-Q wrapped. If I delete Electri-Q from the VST Adapter then all is fine.
Electri-Q v1.01 installer placed the following files in my VST folder:
Electri-Q Editor.exe
Electri-Q.dll
Electri-Q Manual.pdf
OpenAsio.dll
UninstallElectri-Q.exe
Any ideas Christian or anyone? Does the filelist look correct in my VST folder?
Thanks,
Kyle

I'll have a look at this ASAP, right now i'm at my parents.
Only the Electri-Q.dll needs to be within the VST folder. The other files can be moved outside.

Christian

OK - thanks Christian - no big deal for me I've got some errands to run and Hitchhikers Guide to watch later anyway - an easy day! Gotta take breaks sometimes...

Hi Christian - just checking back in to see if you had a chance to look at this or reproduce it. Let me know if you want me to try something...
Also - do you suppose you could add screaming mode in as another analog mode - it was really nice in posihfopit to have additional harmonic control - especially if I made a MB EQ and specified different harmonic setting for different bands.

Hello kylen, i've tried several things on my desktop, but i'm unable to reproduce it. I've heard there were problems with posihfopit and one VST Adapter. There was even a solution (someone suggested something), but i can't find it in the forum again.
I'll make an update later this day. I've fixed several minor things within the finalization section. This may fix it, but i'm not sure.
The screaming mode is currently not planned for 'Electri-Q' but i'll see, how to intergrate it anyway. Since it is fully compatible to posihfopit, you can simply export the screaming mode preset of posihfopit and import it within Electri-Q. Then you have the screaming mode available until you change the mode. Only the screaming button is missing...

OK - thanks Christian I'll check out the new version.
As far as importing posihfopit presets into Electri-Q I get an error msg "The effect file you tried to load is not for this plug-in". Those harmonic modes were a nice part of the posihfopit sound - I just assumed they were in Electri-Q. Oh Well...

Ok, I'll integrate them, but then you have to use the right mousekey again...kylen wrote:As far as importing posihfopit presets into Electri-Q I get an error msg "The effect file you tried to load is not for this plug-in". OK - very good, thanks Christian! I just tried it out - yummy.
Sonar4 still crashes upon exit just to keep you updated on that one (Cakewalk VST adapter traps or gets an exception actually).
