Hybernation, ST2.1 will still be able to read all the Sonik Synth 2 sounds, as well as any other SampleTank libraries.

Anyone who bought ST2XL or L before January 20th can get the sounds update for US$99.

What is the difference between the sounds in ST2-xL, and the upgrade? Can you give me a breakdown of what my $99.00 buys me, compared to what I already have in ST2-xL? What am I gaining here, in other words?

XL sounds from version 2.0 are about 4.5GB, version 2.1 has 6.5GB. By what was said in the past I has the impression that this includes improvements of the existing sounds plus new sounds.

Ok Sampletank 2.1 will be out soon. And Studiophonik? When will be out? Will it have a USB dongle as protection?
