Yes I would have thought a guitar v-amp would be better for bass than a bass v-amp would be for guitarVervil wrote:hmmm...Well you have ordered bass Vamp, not sure how much guitar sounds you will get out of itdusted william wrote:I ordered a bass Vamp pro for 139.99 at zzounds today.

So I saw a deal on the bass Vamp and went for it, no biggie, my plan was to always get both eventually, but if the bass Vamp works then I'll just stick with that.Check one out first at a store if you can. You may want to buy just the Bass V-amp. It has both Bass guitar and electric guitar amp simulations.
If it were available when I was shopping a few years ago, I would have bought that one - It has most of the electric guitar simulations that I use on my V-amp 2, pluss some bass and acoustic guitar settings that I could really use now that I bought an electric bass.

Raven and Vervil; the bass v-amp has BOTH bass and guitar amps and cabinets, plus more. The "normal" v-amp (2) though, only have guitar amps and cabinets.

I've had a couple of V-amps over the last 5 years and prefer them over my Line 6 Amp. I have the bass V-amp also, which I use all the time.Beardedone wrote:I love my V-Amp 2 (had it 3.5 years) and definitely recommend it over Amplitube.
I have amplitude (original not new version obviously)also, which I think I've only used once or twice but it isn't as nice or accessible as my V-amps.
