I wasn't planning on an eXT version, I just did this one for ORION [in the "for the sake of" sense, not the "to be used with" sense]. I think eXT has plenty of skins and I only use NOVA-II myself so its all I need. And skinning eXT is far more effort than ORION, believe it or not.
opiadream, Azura is really good. If he ever finishes it I think it would make a better Default skin than the current one. Mine is designed for more experienced users.

Is that the only consideration? What it does is make the application much easier to work with in several ways:
- Narrower Mixer Strips make the Mixer much easier to live with on screen
- Instrument parameters are in a more logical order
- Even tones thorughout reduce eye fatigue in long sessions
- Most GUI's are considerably smaller than default, allowing you to work with many more elements on screen, reducing the need to switch around or minimise windows, etc
TBH, if I had to work with ORION's default skin it is very unlikely that I would still be using it as my host. When feature sets of so many products are so closely aligned, ease of use becomes a far more significant factor in choosing which to use, smart-arse.

Rename it BgTile.bmp and drop it into the root of the skin directory, you vain prick.

Everything Vurt says or does is like that. I can't not look or listen... I always think I'm going to regret it... and then I'm glad I didn't miss it.
