i have fm7 and the rhodes piano patch
but am looking for an effects plugin which can do an effect like in this sample,
on the site it says done using a Sony HR MP5,

is there any effects plugins which can make an effect similar to this?

Is that the random stutter effect (can't listen now)?

There are many glitchy FX out there: Reaktor, Supatrigga, krakli, dicer...

R66 reverb plugin, or anything else with rather long tails. And if the reverb plug you use doesn't do the early reflections sufficiently well, you can use a delay plugin for these.

I'd at least give Kaejarhus(?) classic reverb a try. It allows you to do sort of like a negative pre-delay that would give it that effect. It is free too.

P.S. I wish he would change the name a little. I spent 30 minutes looking for his site last night because I could not figure out how to spell that name!

Maybe try a little mixture of his classic reverb and classic delay.

You can pick up those Sony boxes really cheaply these days you know? I have the MP-5 which the 'keyboard + stereo' version. It has some really neat effects in it. The one you are talking about is the half-rack guitar effect mono unit.

Of course if you want to be totally software, no use to you, but I think they are worth it second hand.

ah mistake - mine is HR MP5. Maybe thats the same one you mean.

any effects plugin which can do like Sony HR-MP5 ?
