what reg key that is?
What sucks is when they prompt putting it into C: Program Files but you're not sure if they mean the .DLL or they are just talking about documentation and other supporting program files, so you click "next" and the damn thing starts installing the whole package, including the plugin, into a basic application folder insted your plugin directory.GypsyJazz wrote:pw wrote:I hate the way so many plugin installersandroidlove wrote:......... automatically try to put the VST in
"Program Files\Steinberg\Vst Plugins".
I don't have any Steinberg software on my PC.
My VST folder is "Program Files\Vst Plugins".
It's a real PITA having to manually override that setting every time I wanna install a VST.

Many things have changed since then...
