gy wrote:I should point out that GSinthG isn't an instrument, in case the name misled you. It's an effect that uses the pitch of the incoming audio to drive a synth. So, basically, you can use a guitar to play the synth, or an oboe, or your voice, or another synth...
Hi Graham, you wrote on your site:

GSinth

GSinth is a simple VSTi.

GSinth2

GSinth2 is a slightly less simple VSTi.

Now things a more clear !

They are NOT VSTi's. ;)

Thanks

he referred to GsinthG which is an effect. ;)

Ups... sorry...

Anyway, Graham it would be a good idea to add a version number to the VSTs.

No worries. It's my fault for giving them all the same name.

As for version numbers, you're entirely right. I keep meaning to start some sort of version control. Documentation would be good too. Basically the boring bits of my day-job. I'll think about it...

Thanks for this plugin. I don't deal with vocals but I find it does interesting weird stuff to other input (layering it in with monosynths that have portamento, for instance) ;)

Im really enjoying playing with this. thanks for this and all your plugs. the midi and extended range are working very well for me. when playing with live midi input i thought it would be neat if the mod wheel on midi input could create a vibrato effect. just a suggestion. really fun plug to play with.

Wow! I've just now seen this! It seems awesome, and apparently works very nice. Is there plans for being able to manually edit the waveforms on the left? Kind of like Auto-tune? If not, then it seems there is plenty of control to do the same thing. But I think it would be nice to be able to do that.

Thank you SOOOOO much for this. I'll be trying all your stuff in the next couple days. Thanks again!

And I agree about the mod wheel/vibrato effect. I think that would be cool. And I don't know of another pitch tool that does it.

Vibrato? What an interesting idea, I've never heard of that with a vocal plug before.

I thing that V-vocal thingie that comes with Sonar 5 has it as an edit tool. It seems that way on the video at least.
