Ok I am probably like the only person that will ask this as most ppl play there own bass in this era. Im an OLDSCHOOL producer that still uses filtered basslines from samples. In the past decade I've evolved this lazy style of bass play and have refined it to the point that I can modify the notes keep the groove and feel. I would have probably stopped doing this and start playing my own (I am musically trained to)a long time ago but I've had such success with this style that why fix a good thing. My latest advancment has been the ablity to add several exciter effects to give the basslines distortion effects that really breath new life into my basstracks. So, my question is.. Is there a plugin that anyone knows of that can artifically fill above say 180hz bassed on audio below this frequency.
So far I've gotten some minimal distortion succsess with the following:
4front auxciter
elogoxa x-cita
bigtick nastyshaper
DLenz Exit (part of the Prodyon Bundle)
Firegain & Wix
I use these as exciters.. but are is there anything that sounds less distorty and maybe more synthy or acoustic??? Im open to ANY suggestion
THnx
