That isn't my dumbass half brother is it...40k? Nah..he could never do that, he doesn't have enough self control...in the 80's he made a killing building houses and got cocky, that was the first bankruptcy (he had a vette, Harley, swimming pool, lots of guitars, ATV's snow mobiles...he actually had seven trucks with plows that made him a lot of money). But he blew it all and didn't plan for the drop in new home sales here then.foosnark wrote:A friend of mine at work got himself into something like $40,000 of debt buying music gear in the 80's. He's almost paid it off.
I have only seen him once since he owes me a ton of cash (since 98, when I foolishly worked with him) but he told me then he had filed bankruptcy again. I was working at Daddy's Junky Music store, a popular local chain. I came back from lunch and saw his truck (he wasn't happy to see me, he owes me a lot).
He fell in love with the dan electros and wanted one (he could of given me that money
Though with him I do believe he is actually addicted to spending money, money he doesn't have. It's quite abnormal, he's gotta spend or he'll jones
