Yeah my solution is for you to go into the midi in/out on your track and select the asio channel that matches your input such as mic or line in, also located on the track is the input echo switch make sure thats switch to the on position.stag wrote:Well i select ASIO allrigth, getting it to monitor and record that´s another thing, yep Sonar is great for people who like it, got no problem with that, since money doesn´t grow on trees i´m kind of stuck with SX, willingly, i must add.
Bye.
I was using WDM drivers with my old Audigy card but have switch to there new X-Fi Line which is reported to be 300 times more powerful lol, Im not gonna back up that claim but I will say that with this new Creative card im getting less than 1ms latency which is like using hardware. it also improves the sound of commercial CDs and Cds you burn by using some new technique, that I can really hear the difference in sound. quite a amazing sound card.
To answer the earlier question "Does Sonar 5 native Vsti support have to scan in every time like Cubase?"
No.
Sonar only will rescan if you install new plugins but Sonar5 starts instantly and I have alot of plugs and effects.
