I bet you'd be surprised though how good they are for rock! ;-) :-D
Could be, I've never had one myself

the two humbuckers can put it somewhere near to a LesPaul... :-D

Hi attalal,
I hadn't heard of them myself tbh. I was on the lookout for a cheapish guitar and liked the look of this, googled it, found the reviews and took a chance. As for sound, the first place economies are made is the electrics. The pickupds aren't bad per se, but if you are wanting to record to pc, being single coil, they are a touch noisy. The Fender silent replacements are just that, silent :D Overall, the sound now is a touch fatter than a tele I had some years back, hard to remember exactly, but this guitar plays (the action is fabulous) looks and sounds a dream, and the build quality is excellent. Bog standard tuning pegs, but once tuned I rarely need to touch them. I've had plenty of guitars over the years, but for sheer value for money (£230 all told :o ) this easily beats the others. Well worth a look imho.
RIP Black Tom and Beckett. They weren't just cats, they were MY cats, the best cats ever.

Hehehe

To be honest though, it's probably a bad deal selling a cheap/cheapish guitar, unless you desperately need the money.

A bump for no reason other than to say that, after a few lost ebay auctions, I decided to spend a bit more and bought this:
http://www.prsguitars.com/showcase/curr ... pbar2.html

Playing in the shop, I thought at first the neck was too fat (it's huge), but I got quickly used to it. Really like it, the only minus point being that the pickups don't really sound like P90's. Not a big deal atm, and at some point I'll get some replacements.

Anyway, thanks for the advise everyone. I never found a Jet King to try, and the radiator is interesting, but not what I wanted right now.

Btw, I'd be interested if someone has a recommendation on good replacement P90 style pickups. I'll be looking for something with vintage characteristics, but slightly hotter. Not too hot though.

personally I'd rather go for one of the (much cheaper) Jet Kings (I'm a big Ibanez fan and think they're all good & usable intruments :D)
I have the MMM by Ibanez, the baritone 6-string and it's one of the better purchases I've made. It is similar in quality to the one you were looking at. The wood is very nice up close, and the general build on the guitar is good, imo. Mine was set up well right out of the shop, but that may have been due to the fact that it was a small guitar shop where the instruments get a little more care than at a Guitar Center, etc.
