Yes, you can preorder now, which will allow you to unlock the v5 plug-ins that have been released so far. Just email me at support@wavearts.com with your previous order details to upgrade.mn wrote:Is Power Suite 4 -> 5 upgrade available yet?

Just tryed the demo, I'm very impressed with the interface and the sound
. However, I find that it takes MUCH more CPU than Voxengo Voxformer. So if you use the channel strip for vocals mainly (which I do), thats a problem. I know its not exactly a fair comparo becuase Trackplug has much more control on the compressors etc. But like I sayd, I only use channel strips for vox mainly.

Thanks for the comments... are you noticing the higher CPU usage with certain combinations of effects and/or real-time parameter control/automation? The DSP blocks themselves are quite CPU efficient (i.e. on my old 800Mhz Pentium III, I can have the EQ, gate, both compressors and the limiter running and only use 6% of the CPU), so if you can tell me more about your platform/host it might help narrow down where the slowdown might be. We're always looking for ways to shave off unecessary CPU cycles...

Hey Rob, got my v5 updates, thanks. Just thought I'd mention something I just noticed. In energyXT whenever you cycle through a preset, the audio input is disconnected. Seems to be true for the v4's as well, so I don't think its new, I just never noticed. I guess I didn't use presets much, at least in eXT. They all work fine in Sonar, you can scroll through them at will and the audio is not interrupted. It might be an eXT issue but thought you would want to know.
Can you confirm this, AD80? I'm using the 1.4 beta from Oct 14.
