Don't get this 'DVD Region - You Have 2 More Times' business when I play my Tex Avery DVD from France on my lappy? How serious is it when it gets to '0'? Is there some kind of reset trick to reset it? I believe it's WinDVD I'm using on my lappy w/W2000.

I think it gets fixed to whatever the last region was, but I think you can get round it with software. Someone's bound to have a better answer than that though. P.S. You can check its status from control panel - system - hardware tab - device manager - expand DVD/CD-ROM drivers - right click your dvd drive - properties - dvd region tab.

I use http://www.dvdidle.net/en/dvd-region-free.htm
updated regularly and update/upgrade free for life...
well, money good spent when you have to deal with such nuisance.
I hate this kind of limitation: f*** them.

Thanks guys. Did a search and saw a bunch of 'great software' incl. the DVD Genie all ranging in different prices. But no 'free' thing from/for WinDVD?
Oh well, DVD Genie and DVDidle it shall be! Thanks again guys.
