yeah, its from creative and you would need some time of creative card to get it to work but it works well.
crap now I see it doesnt seem to be sold seperately anymore
Creative Soundfont Player.
You could do this with Vienna and others, but its a lil more of a pain.

there are quite a few threads regarding soundfont editors, do a search and it should tell you all the things you can try. Vienna is free but like birrbits said you need a soundblaster card to use it - I got one cheap off ebay for just that purpose

Well I'd just load 10 NNXT's in Reason and slap em all in combinator. Then save the combinator patch. Love my reason

it's a great programme, bloody expensive just for editing soundfonts but I think you can use it for 30 days before the demo expiresC00kie wrote:FMJ-Soft's AWave studio may do the trick...

took me a while to find it...the above program is called the "soundfont librarian"
it should do what you want
i haven't used it for ages so i'm assuming it's compatible with winxp/2000
good luck

Definitive download location is http://soundblaster.com/soundfont/downloads.asp
And yes, it requires a SB card (as does Soundfaction Alive). Some other programs don't (EXSC doesn't, I don't believe AWave needs one either).

Well I tryed it on my PC @ work.
I d/l some free SoundFonts and tryed to merge a couple of them, It looks like it worked gr8.
This PC has *NO* soundcard, so I cant audition them
But what it means that probably this App does *NOT* need a creative soundcard.
again,
I`ll check it when I`ll get home.

good...from memory it's just a drag and drop program which probably shouldn't require a soundcard unless you want to audition soundsBoksteR wrote:Well I tryed it on my PC @ work.
