Found these while searching SourceForge:

They are windows ports of LADSPA (Linux Audio) plugs.
Manuals & descriptions of the original plugs can be found here:

I'm especially interested what people think about TAP-Dynamics...

'TAP-Reverb VST 1.131 released. Did not notice sample rate was hardcoded to 22050.'

ack. strange way of performance optimisation.
aka rktic. demoscener (Farbrausch, Holon, MFX, Still), sound designer, ux-dude, sth @AudioRealism, human synthesizer—not necessarily in that order.

I wouldn't have much hope for a dev who didn't realise the reverb was running at 22khz...

One word: Yardstick.

and should we start talking about the other 80's "vintage digital" reverbs you all would absolutely love to have.

Many would still claim them superior even if some of them have samplerates around 8-14khz.


I'm not defending these plugin conversions, but there's some food for thought (and an idea for daring developers).
