You are probably thinking of the Refills made by Swedish synthpop group Diskodiktator:

Hi there,
I'm the guy that meticulously sampled my Texas Instruments Speak&Spell and created the archive that Steve hosted on Hollowsun.
http://www.hollowsun.com/donations/spea ... index.html
At this stage I've made it in Akai & EXS24 formats but certainly have plans to extend this to the Refill format for use in Reason. Since creating this initial library I've been collecting every word module for the Speak&Spell and plan to (time permitting) create the complete Speak&Spell sample collection.
When I get around to making the Refill version of the initial library I'll let you all know and perhaps we can find somewhere to host it.
Cheers,
luke_
ps. you might notice my website is down at the moment, another thing on the list...

I took a sawtooth wave off this Pantomime4, looped it back, mixed it with the sound of this crab committing suicide and let it stew in its own reverb for about 3 hours, then I pumped it all out through this shoe to give it that oak'y timbre.
