hi all

is there a simple envelope plug? basically I am trying to replicate using my Yamaha CS5 analog synth which has an audio Input. I can plug my guitar in and then use the adsr to do shaping on my guitar. However would love a vst version.

anything out there like that? ( hopefully free)

One option would be a gate/expander like Floorfish, which lets you shape attack and decay to an extend (only up to 50 ms attack, so it isn't extreme). Another option would be NDC's MIDI ADSR, which lets you shape an input with an ADSR, but it is only triggered by MIDI note on.

Not sure if there are any that are triggered by audio in.
