I mentioned this in another thread about reverbs, but it was lost in a flame war about sexual preferences.

Personally I think it is cool as hell. My friend built one, and though it took ages, and was a chore, it does work, and it does sound awesome.

It really is a funny old place, KvR. Must admit I fail to see the connection between reverb plates and getting your end away.

Plate reverbs from digital units rarely appeal to me, but I must admit on the rare occasions I've played with real plates - they do sound quite unique, don't they?
