Amplitube 2 Preset Suggestions

After a post by Squids, I'm making this thread to just suggest some different styles of tones, these can be from songs or just generalised genres.
I'm particularly after some patches similar to Jefferson Airplane's White Rabbit, Tool's Schism, The White Stripes' Blue Orchid and other general prog-rock tones - think Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Led Zeppelin.

OK here is an idea.
Let's utilize the new DSM technology and create the following:
A nice and thick Blues sound played with the neck pickup.
When played soft it is almost clean.
When picked hard it starts to bring out some distorted tones.

Maybe we should keep this one cleaner than my thread...LOL. No boobs, no latency! Just tone presets requests.

Bring it on! If you can find a place on the net that has a little clip of the tune (maybe itunes?) that would be helpful. Also, feel free to post info on particular guitarist's set ups if you want too. Eventually I think you guys can make patches and share them with each other. But, before release I might collect some requests and try to nail certain sounds. I will be doing it for myself anyway (such as Led Zep, Who, Floyd, Beatles etc.). I won't be the only one making patches of course but I just wanted to do it even though that's not really my "job". (Studiophonik, however, IS!
).

I'm thinking a Cure and Bauhaus type guitar sound would be cool. Guitar Rig has a Cure preset that's pretty good. I would like to see what Amplitude 2 can do with it.

oooo! Fancy! But, a lot of fun. This can be an awesome thread. Time to pull out those guitar mags that list your guitarist's favorite gear! I'll dig up some myself. If you name artists, try to name specific songs from them since guitar tones are different song to song (at least with SOME bands
).
Keep it coming lads!

The Stones had all Tweed Twins and Fender Vibro Kings (brown). They also had Ampeg SVT with 8X10s... oh and AmpliTube 1 in their ProTools rig. By the way, I have a picture of that! It was done on a phone camera though so poor quality. I will post it in a bit just for fun. I knew that Chuck Levelle (sp?) was using ST and SS2 on a Receptor already because I know the tech, Will Alexander, well from working with Keith Emerson. Actually, Sonic Reality sponsored Keith to stay in the US if you can believe that! But, anyway, I had no idea they were using AmpliTube as well! Also, that they were using it LIVE (as opposed to on some pre-recorded track). I've been seeing bands use plug-ins live more and more these days but I wouldn't have thought the Rolling Stones would be that modern... except that it must have been Will who really loves SR sounds and IK plug-ins so... they are new to being turned onto some of this stuff I think. But, you should have seen Chuck light up when we were talking about Philharmonik. Musicians love this stuff!
Anyway, carry on (my wayward sons)...

Some Mark Knoplfer's solo work presets would be great.
Check "Wag the dog", "Golden Heart" and "Sailing to Philadelphia" albums.
There's som info on his rig on:

This site has an "alleged" guitar rig database for various artists.
Jerry Garcia!
http://guitargeek.com/rigview/615/
Trey Anastasio! (Phish)
http://www.phish.net/faq/guitar.html
Jonny Greenwood! (Radiohead)
http://guitargeek.com/rigview/510/
I'd also like a Mike Rutherford set up with the delay he used a lot in the later years.
And Steve Rothery from Marillion, although I couldn't find his rig. C'mon, help me play "Kayleigh"!
I may think of others.

Steve? I think he used Roland Jazz Chorus actually. You can simulate that with a clean amp and the C-1 pedal in AT2 though... and some delay for Kayleigh. Heh.
