Lowest cpu free reverb?

I need something just for tracking vocals. The vocalist likes to hear reverb when she records. I want to keep the cpu load down so I can get the lowest latency.
I will use another reverb later when mixing and rendering down the mix.

Buzzroom's Roomreverb (avaliable in the old plugin pack from the x-buz.com site) causes a 2% increase in live. It's also one of the best free reverb plugins.

Glaceverb is far from being light on the cpu - it uses more than twice the amount of the aforementioned RoomReverb - another very light (and like RoomReverb great sounding) option is Sirius' FreverbToo...Spiggy wrote:Try out DaSample Glaceverb or Luxonix LFX-1310 - they're both free and pretty CPU light.

thanks for this valuable information...Jaidy wrote:I think a reverb plugin that is light on the cpu is an oxymoron.

If GlaceVerb ain't light . . . you need a new PC.
I use it ALL the time and probably more often than I should. I never, ever run into a case where it's the reverb that's killing my CPU . . . it's always that one last instance of (Moog Modular, Janus 3, DSP Phantom or whatever VSTi) that kills me.
Personally, I prefer GlaceVerb far and above over RoomReverb and FreverbToo. Of course, I tend to like more FX/coloring/artificial sounding reverbs as opposed to transparent ones. Personal taste.
