I only recently tried out the CamelSpace demo. Mr. Camel certainly does have a penchant for good kicks, doesn't he?
If you take off all of the flanging, delays etc, and just use the filter in CamelSpace at 50%wet/dry, you can get a huge oomph out of any kick.

I've not come across any other dev who can instantly make kicks sound so good. I never used Camelphatfree much for anything, but it is still unbeatable for kicks - that magic kick button just works a wonder.

Amen to that.

No way! I'm a very serious plugin user. I think anyone who dabbles in this kind of stuff for a laugh should be careful..

:serious:

:hihi:

tbh, I don't as it goes. I have a custom kit in loopazoid that pretty much matches my real drum kit. I find that easiest :)

LoopAZoid! I haven't heard that name in so long I had to look it up!

It's a good bit of kit - even tho' it's only one layer per shot, there are sufficient pads that you can be creative with it and include the extra articulations. With 4 stereo out's, for me it's a winner, tho' I do have my eye on DK+...

Failing that, I'll write my own

Yes, CamelPhat Free can be very nice.

Also, I got a nice result once using BugDrive, driving the lows.
