check it out.
I'm really wanting to go with GR2 even though I own Amplitube 1, GR2 sounds and looks great, plus it's from Native Instruments, everything I have of theirs sounds awesome and I don't know why GR2 would be any different.

IK products are good, but NI is awesome (no transfer fee too).

It DOES look impressive. Since I'm already pretty happy with what's on tap in the virtual amp world (Green Machine II or Simulanalog, for example), I'm clearly no purist. So GR2 will at least meet or exceed my expectations, I'm sure.

Apparently you have to wear those shoes to use rig control 2

I hope that GR2 will be better than this cheap promo video. The shoes are cool though.
