Incredible. And stupid. If we sell GR1 to get GR2 the price will be stunning since we'll have to get the new Rig Kontrol as well, and we can't expect to get even a decent price for GR1. Add in shipping costs, tax etc etc and it just won't work out favorably unless you sell it to your rich uncle... :?

BTW I upgraded from KC2005 to K3 and won't go for the KC2006 until I know that it has any real value. And I'm quite happy with the Rig Kontrol as it is.

More than happy with K2 and KC2005, great value in my eyes. Don't see any value in K3 and going to wait to see about KC2006.

Stil waiting to hear from NI as I have Komplete Sound and bought Studio Drums 2 before KS2 annonced. Was hoping for a special price for customers that only need Kontakt Experience. :?

It turned out that NI had the wrong price in their store and refuses to sell it to me for that price (upgrade from K2+KC2005 -> K3 was $124). So I'm still on the fence as to whether I'll upgrade or not.

I just got a notice that B4 II will be shipped soon, though. :)

I don't know how I could go about fighting for it, though.

Anyway the way they handled this just put another nail in the NI coffin as far as I'm concerned. I am a big fan of their products but are getting extremely tired of their horrible customer handling. "Komplete Care" my ass... :roll:

Yep got my mail yesterday!!!

KC05 was worth it but with the pricing structure/upgrade options and lack of floorboard with the packaged GR2 - Im staying away from NI until the middle/end of 06... shame really...

It's legal. At any point in a transaction the product can be withdrawn from sale. A retail sale called an 'invitation to treat'...

Yeah, me too. The first KC was too good an offer to decline, but I don't fit the KC customer profile financially ;) I'm gonna wait for Komplete4, my mind's made up.

Concerning GR, I'd rather get the line6 TonePort UX2, it's much better value, and expandable. Too bad, I'd rather have stuck with software.

I would agree totally with that! The only thing is I'd turn up to a gig looking like Im sponsored by Line 6 - Flextone, floorboard, gig bags :hihi:

IMHO what NI shoulda done was offer a silly upgrade price for folk that have Everything05 -> Everything06 (K2 & KC05 -> K3 & KC06)... well I guess they did offer a silly price :hihi:
