Post

Steinberg just released an important patch that is supposed to fix all the problems related to multi-processor and multi-core system crashes.

------------
Dear Cubase SL and SX 3.1 users,

An update patcher for all Cubase SL 3.1 and Cubase SX 3.1 versions is now available. This update patcher installs version 3.1.1.944, it requires an already installed 3.1.0.x version and can not be applied to previous versions!

Installation notes:

- Unplug all USB keys
- Make sure version 3.1.0.933 is already installed.
- Download the update patcher, start the installer
- After the installation has finished connect your USB keys again (PC: Guide the Windows Hardware Detection Wizard to install the USB key driver automatically).

Additional notes:

Please make sure to use at least Syncrosoft LCC version 4.9.5.2. This version is supplied with the previous 3.1.0.933 update. If in doubt install the update as described, then download and install the current >>> Syncrosoft LCC <<<.

Yet another Steinberg patch for it's beta testers. Will Steinberg ever get their software functional without requiring a dozen or more patches?

I never had a show stopper until 3.1 and that happened alone on one machine all other system function properly, after this patch they all work okay :P

Other developers aside curing bugs also have a long way to go to catch up with Steinberg features and relyability, :hihi: :hihi:

I've never seen more than four patches for Sonar.

And none of them involved a dongle :D

And if there aren't any neurones, you don't have to rub them together.

Post

well hanafi the 4.01 Sonar update only introduced 70 bug fixes.
the last Tricktion update more than 30, don´t know how many were on other updates.

Still i have full PDC on SX for more than 2 years and others... well you know the story as you seem to be a user of them, fanboy.

There are still that many bug fixes in the 5th patch for SX 3? They have at least another half dozen updates to go before they get SX 3 working to an acceptable level! Sorry but that is totally unacceptable! With that many fixes in the 5th patch alone, this is not something to praise Steinberg for as much as someone should slap those weasels at Steinberg for releasing SX 3 in the first place.

Just remember. If anyone is ever in the mood to bend over and take it you know where, just become a Steinberg customer! They aim to deliver (and will) every time. :D

Mr Cubase says: You are not worthy to spit upon the ground his holiness the Charlie of Steinberg walks upon. How dare you? How dare you even suggest there is any imperfection in the peerless majesty of Cubase? There aren’t any bugs. It is perfection incarnate. And if you think there are any bugs it’s because you’re a crack whoore mutha an even if you paid for it it’s because you’re too stupid to configure a PC, and even if you know what you’re doing it’s because you’re too stupid to be me.

And how dare you even suggest that I, ME, could be so stupid as to buy anything that has any flaw in it whatsoever? So even if you are one of the one in five users who experiences some kind of problem well fook you sonny Jim, fook you. Cause I will not have your problems making ME, ME mind you, look the slightest bit like a stupid little arsehole Cubase user. Is it that clear?

Post

Perfectly clear:

 YOU IS A MORON

Any doubts, fanboy???

I just started this thread so that CUBASE users with muti-processor systems (that had crashes/problems) will finally be able to continue making music(as i am one of them):).

I dont really see the point in all this whining/flaming, what is this ? a bug content lol ?, its people that make the music!, not the sequencer!.

Spend your nrg on making music and having fun offline, this thread is totally off topic.

Take care :>
