pick a number any number say 34
add the 3 and the 4 together makes 7
Take 7 away from 34 this leaves 27
Look at the symbol next to 27
Remember it the press the sphere and this will reveal the symbol of number 27

10x+y-x-y=9x, ie a multiple of 9. All the attainable multiples of 9 (i.e. those up to 81, as x cannot be greater than 9) are marked with a snowflake.
