Cubase SX Users: I'm wondering how one goes about sending a single MIDI Track's output to more than one VSTi. I'm sure it's easy and simple, and it's one of those things I've been meaning to figure out for years, but keep forgetting about.

I'm not sure if you use internal or a 3rd party plug, but any help would be appreciated!

Holy crap, would you believe I just figured this out. I finally noticed the "Send" section, where you can choose any MIDI I/O available. Duh.

Never Mind!

Yeah! Pass the love. I've been using Cubase/Nuendo for 5 years and I just get this now..

I also just discovered:
  • you CAN use arrow keys to navigate between tracks and move events around
  • you CAN re-arrange tracks in the Mixer view, via the Track View arrangement.
I swear to god I've read the manuals up, down and back again and I never saw this stuff. Oh well, better late than...

Hah! I only discovered the "P" command to set the L/R markers around a part a couple of months ago. And I've used Cubase since 1990.

How come every other user on the bleedin' planet seemed to know this already? Huh?

How about "L" for loop selection? Kills two birds with one stone. :hihi:

I didn't know that one either...

Maybe I should just press keys at random - I'll find all sorts of goodies i could use.

There you go! I'm always amazed at how, in the rush to get in there and make music, I miss many incredible shortcuts in my host. It's worth it to go to the Steinberg forum and check out some of those workflow stickies and some of the SoundOnSound Cubase Notes, et al. Because just when you think you know everything...
