Well, I hope Torben is working on updating GCO1 to have side-chaining capabilities (which IIRC, was promised). For a "flagship" compressor, it's fallen behind the competition in this regard.

Flugel, yes, and a multiband version called GCO-3 would be neat as well...

If I had to guess I'd say we'd see the Golden Delay and Torben's new synth first (not necessarily in that order though). On the bright side, based on how long Torben's been working on the synth, I'm thinking we're going to be in for quite a treat no matter what type of synthesis it has.
I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.

cool topic guys
I have been keeping an eye out on Sonalksis but they promised some news on the Gate a year ago and still no word. I would love to see a tape emulation plugin by sonalksis for sure.
Kjaerhus are just awesome, I hope Torben brings out some cool stuff soon. Personally, I have no interest in a synth at all, I would much prefer..
- GCO-1 update with sidechaining
- GEQ-1 update with more flexible shelving filters (allowing for high Q values to cover the really high frequencies and for more punch in the lower frequencies)
- GCO-3
- GDE-1 ... I'd buy this in a matter of seconds
- GDO-1 ... distortion plugin emulating tape / tube saturation.
- GRE-1 ... a golden reverb !!!!

It would be great if Kjaerhus could cover all effect categories. However, Voxengo fill the gap nicely by providing the things that Kjaerhus don't. Except for a really good delay plugin
Imagine this...
-= Mixing Effects =-
Chorus / Delay - Kjaerhus (would love a Gold Delay, using the Classic Mainly)
Reverb - Kjaerhus (using the Classic atm, would love a Gold) & Voxengo for Convolution
Dynamics Processing - Kjaerhus (this is already the case for me, using Kjaerhus on everything, would love multiband and sidechaining)
EQ - Kjaerhus (used on most things except when I need more powerful shelving filters)
Distortion - A real need for a good plugin exists here, Kjaerhus help !
-= Mastering =-
Limiting / Linear Phase EQ - Voxengo
Dynamics Processing - Kjaerhus
(dreams)
Cheers

I use torben's classic series more than anything at all. His limiter is invaluable to me. It works exactly how I want it to.

I'm waiting keenly for Torbens synth. I got the impression that it's not just another VA, but something completely different.
I also would buy Golden Delay in a heartbeat if it was available. I see that I'm not alone when I say this: The only delay I use atm is Classic Delay. I'm still waiting for a better one to arrive.

Same here - Classic Delay is my "go-to" delay, along wih the ones that are actually included in Ableton Live, my host. The PSP 84 is good... but I've been holding out for the Kjaerhus one, if indeed there is definitely to be one?
