maybe there's been a thread about this before, but i didn't want to sort through 12 pages of results.

anybody have any weird dreams related to recording stuff or computer music stuff?

i'll start off. i had one the other night where i was listening to this woman talk to me and i could control the spread of her voice (from 0% (mono) to 100% (stereo)) with a big moog-looking knob hovering in front of her.

Not a dream, but many years ago I got extremely stoned while having a full-on Tetris addiction phase, I once "heard" the guitar player's efforts at a concert as Tetris moves, and it was unforgettable. Every time he played something unpredictable, I "heard" it as if he managed to make a falling Tetris-piece jump sideways to the right slot. Weehee.

I lately dreamed of sequencing stuff & building multis.
I'm late, anxious and nothing works. Sweaty, indeed.

oh, I also dream of drumming in a concert with my blue pijama on. this one happens regularly, but only with the blue pijama.

I usually dream about playing the live set of a century...but the only one's listening are a dog and a few old classmates from middleschool or summethin' really odd

I recall times when I dreamed about me playing piano. I would just press keys and all in the dream, and it always sounded beautiful. Then I wake up, and i'm thinking damn! If I pressed those keys in reality like I did in that dream I would end up with a bunch of harsh noise. I guess it comes from me thinkingf about wanting to be able to play the piano like that. To be able to play orginial pieces and making it sound absolutely beatiful. I'm too impatient in reality I discover.

if I go to bed soon sfter working a long session I'll dream of the song...like reading a good book..tbh if a song doesn't effect my dreams (and sometimes is not obvious or logical) it usually gets scrapped....

weird recording related dreams
