First time playing out with Live

Hey all,
I have a show coming up on the 5th (my first in like 3 years) and I'll be using Ableton Live to do it. I"m doing a trip-hop and then a hip-hop set and I'm curious as to what the best method may be to do this.
One part of me says mix down all of my tracks into their respective loops and then reconstruct each song on the spot. That's a lot of work and I'm going to be on stage for about 2 1/2 hours.
The other thing I was thinking of is to mix down each part of the track (drums all the way through, bass all the way through, etc.) and then have them all in a horizontal lane and let it play the track all the way through. I would then throw in additional loops I have worked up and play with effects to glitch it out a little bit.
If I were just going to be doing a single set, I would use the first method. But, given the length and complexity of the songs and the set I'm leaning towards the second option.
Any opinions as to which may be the more efficient way to do this or any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

I'm curious to know how it turns out and what method you use, I'm going to be doing stuff very similar with Live

I think the whole thing will be recorded. So, if it's decent quality and I can find somewhere to host it I'll post it.
This is first show I've done with a computer and the first show that wasn't solo so I'm curious to know how it turns out too.
