Now this thing is amazing, I did try the PLParEQ1 and while I liked it I was put off by the bugs.
This on the other hand seems to be tweaked better and I can go up to quality 5 on two bands without distortion or crackels.
I am humbley amazed at the quality of this EQ it will deff be a part of my mastering setup as it blows the doors off of anything Ive ever heard and even competes with hardware, its that good.
I just ran it thru a final mixdown on Sonar5 and A/B the whole 5 minuets of the song using the lowpass & Band reject bands I just cant believe the quality.
Im not one to give out praise to often but this thing suprised me.

Heh! There is zero difference in the DSP engine between PLParEQ1 and PLParEQ4. The only difference is the presence or absence of a VST GUI...

Try out ver 1.14 PLParEQ4 -- this adds independently selectable Stereo, Middle, Side, filtering options on each of the 4 filters.
Again, no changes to the DSP core, only change is in what we feed it...

I didnt try the new version of the single band just went straight to the 4 band one because of the bugs I had with the earlier version it was so bad I skipped the update but still wanted to try the new one figuring it would be a different experience, If you didnt change the core but did change something else then thats what was giving me problems, because I have no problems with PLparEQ4 at all cept for on some high settings youi cant even start the thing but that is to me because my cpu cant handle it.
