from the excerpt I read, it just sounds like he wants to kick yer ass anyway. I wouldnt think of that as a death threat. I dont think of that threat as anything different from Big Paulo threatening to assault me. its easy to talk tuff from behind a monitor.

Sean just sent me an email threatening me with legal action. He says that I'm slurring him. If he stopped emailing me, I wouldn't be posting this newest stuff.

He's not very bright.

A known behavior of that 'sort' of person.
You have basically 2 choices at the moment. One is to ignore what he sends your way, and to make sure you don't accidently slide into libel which so far it seems you haven't, but I'm no lawyer. Either way make sure you keep things down to the absolute facts, making no implications etc.

The other way is to phone up your solicitor and meet with him for a quick discussion of the matter. Print out all the material in two copies, one for your own records, one for the solicitor and let him offer you guidance as to the proceedings in this matter.
Obviously this aproach costs money, which however is covered if you have a defence insurance.

I've been in situations like this before and learned my lessons about who to work for and who to avoid pretty early on when my 'something's fishy' sense picks up on somebody or on a situation.
Either way you need to make sure you don't accidentally slip into the libel area, which wouldn't help your own interest in this, so keep it as professional, 'cool' and down to the raw facts and free from even the tiniest assumptions that are not facts whenever you talk about it and to whomever you talk about it.
I know it's tempting to delve into descriptions of various methods of inflicting pain onto the abuser, like hanging him out of the window by his testicles etc., but stay away from that, it doesn't help your own cause.

Just say that you will contact the police cuz he threathened you physically and you will get a hold of a copy of the log through your ISP.

I hope he is reading this thread.

If he is using that as a basis for legal action then the BBC must be in a constant state of bankruptcy with programs like Watchdog, or that mad Irosh bloke who exposes scams/crims etc...

If I were you, my response to him would be, "You want to sue me for slander? Fine. Do what you have to do. Just remember that what you've said in your emails, including your threat of bodily harm, is all public record. If posting the infintile emails you're sending me on line is slander, then maybe you ought to be suing yourself, because it's your own words that make you look like a fool, scammer and an amateur."

Probably best to collect all the threads that you've posted to as well, just for your records.
